MISCELLANEOUS :

        Just after the Demands for Grants for the day were voted Mr. P.R. Kyndiah, M.L.A., wanted to move a motion about the incident that happened in Shillong on the night of 23rd June, 1971. The Speaker ruled that the hon'ble Member if he was so anxious to move a motion he should give notice in writing what motion he wanted to raise under the provisions of the Rules of Procedure.

INTRODUCING OF BILLS :

        The Minister of Finance introduced the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly ( Ministers' Salaries and Allowances ) ( Amendment ) Bill, 1971.

ADJOURNMENT :

        The House then adjourned at 10.40 A.M., to meet again at 9 A.M., on Friday, the 25th June, 1971.
