        The Assembly met at 10 A.M. with the Speaker in the Chair. The day was devoted for transaction of Government Business.

QUESTIONS 

        Starred Question Nos.14 and 15 with supplementaries thereto were replied. Starred Question No.13 was not put and answered as the hon. Questioner putting the question was absent.

        Replied to Unstarred Question Nos.12 to 19 were laid on the tables of the Members.

VOTING ON DEMANDS FOR GRANTS :

        The following Demands for Grants were taken up and passed :-

Grant No.57-A "Road and Water Transport Schemes-A-Road Transport-I-Working Expenses".

Grant No.61 "Forests".

11.

Grant No.66 "Miscellaneous-IV-Expenditure on Issue of Free Ration and Rice Concession, etc.".

12.

Grant No.75 "Capital Outlay on Industrial and Economic Development-I-Investment in other Commercial and Industrial Undertakings".

Grant No.77 "Capital Outlay on Industrial and Economic Development-III-Other Miscellaneous Undertaking".

 

14.

Grant No.79-A "Capital Outlay on Road and Water Transport Schemes-A-Road Transport".

15.

Grant No.80-"Capital Outlay on Schemes of Government Trading".

16.

Grant No.87 "Loans and Advances, etc.-VI Industrial Loans".

17.

Grant No.91. "Loans and Advances, etc. (X-Housing Loans").

18.

Grant No.51 "Miscellaneous, Social and Developmental Organisation-IX-Tourist Organisation".

        The Cut Motions given notice by different hon. Members in respect of different grants were moved but withdrawn after hearing from the Minister Incharge.

REPORT OF THE RULES COMMITTEE :

        Shri B.B. Lyngdoh, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Member of the Rules Committee laid the Report of the Rules Committee with the amendments proposed to the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business of the Assembly.

ADJOURNMENT :

        The House was then adjourned at 7.30 P.M., to meet again on Wednesday, the 28th June, 1972.
