        The Assembly met at 10 A.M. with the Speaker in the Chair.

1. QUESTION HOUR :

        There was no question for reply.

2. ZERO HOUR :

        The Minister for Civil Supplies, Shri Maham Singh, made a statement to the effect that preparations were under way for establishment of a petroleum depot at Mawiong near Shillong by the Indian Oil Corporation.

3. INTRODUCTION OF BILL :

        The Meghalaya Transfer of Land (Regulation) (Amendment) Bill, 1981, was introduced by Shri D.D. Lapang, Minister incharge of Revenue.

4. VOTING ON DEMANDS FOR GRANTS :

        The House passed grants Nos.27, 28 and 1-19. The Cut Motions on grants Nos.27 were withdrawn after adequate reply by the Minister incharge while the cut motions on grants Nos.28 and 6 were not moved. The rest of the cut motions were guillotined at 12 noon.

5. THE MEGHALAYA APPROPRIATION (NO. III) BILL, 1981 :

        The Meghalaya Appropriation (No. III) Bill, 1981, relating to the Budget was introduced by the Minister for instance, Shri Maham Singh.

ADJOURNMENT :

        The House was adjourned by the Deputy Speaker till 10 A.M. on Monday, March 30, 1981.
