The Meghalaya Appropriation (No.1) Bill, 1982, relating to the supplementary demand for grants for 1981-82 was introduced by the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Finance, Shri S.D. Khongwir.
The Minister for Civil Supplies, Shri Maham Singh, made a statement detailing the schedule of lifting foodstuff allotted by the Food Corporation of India from Gauhati.
The Deputy Speaker ruled the notice of adjournment motion tabled by U M.N. Majaw the previous day in respect of the civil supply matter as out of order.
