(a) Shri. A.H. Scott Lyngdoh, Minister, Finance, to beg leave to introduce the Meghalaya Appropriation (No. II) Bill, 1999;

(b) If leave be granted to introduce the Bill.

4.    Shri. D.N. Joshi, Minister, Parliamentary Affairs to move:

    "That the second proviso to sub-rule (c) of Rule 72 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in its application to the Meghalaya Appropriation (No. II) Bill, 1999 be suspended for the time being, in so far as the rule requires circulation of the Bill four days in advance before the motion for consideration may be moved".

(a) Shri. A.H. Scott Lyngdoh, Minister, Finance to move that the Meghalaya Appropriation (No. II) Bill, 1999 be taken into consideration;

(b) Consideration of the Meghalaya Appropriation (No. II) Bill, 1999, clause by clause.

6.    Shri. A.H. Scott Lyngdoh, Minister, Finance to move that the Meghalaya Appropriation (No. II) Bill, 1999 be passed.

7.    Shri. A.T. Mondal to present the Petition under Rule 105 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business signed by the Cadre Secretaries of the Meghalaya Supervision and Cadre Management Co-operative Society Ltd.

8.    Shri. T.H. Rangad, to move a Special Motion under Rule 130 (A) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business :-

     "This House do now discuss the conflict at Kargil and adjoining areas about by the unnecessary and unprovoked aggression by Pakistan whereby the House unanimously condemn the same and at the same time express our solidarity with the Government of India, the Armed Forces and convey our condolences to the families of the brave soldiers who have lost their lives and made the extreme sacrifice in defence of our country".
