Mukhim, Minister in-charge Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs to make a statement under Rule 55 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business on "Rise of prices of essential commodities in the state" arising out of starred and unstarred Questions etc during the current session.

Shri. M. N. Mukhim, Minister in-charge Forests and Environment to make a statement under Rule 55 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business on "Illegal Felling of trees and encroachment in the Reserved forest of Garo Hills" arising out of starred and unstarred Questions etc, during the current session.

Shri. Manas Chaudhuri, MLA to call the attention of Minister in-charge Forest under Rule 54 (1) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business to the news item published in "The Shillong Times" Dt. 28.2.07 under the caption "Court asks Government to protect catchment areas".

Smti. D. C. Marak, Minister in-charge Arts & Culture to lay a statement relating to calling attention notice by Shri. M. Rava, MLA under the caption "More than 50 Nos. of Siva Lingas discovered".

  2. If leave be granted, to introduce the Bill.

Shri. R. G. Lyngdoh, Minister in-charge Parliamentary Affairs to move :-

"That the second proviso to sub-rule (c) of Rule 72 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in its application to the Meghalaya appropriation (No. II) Bill, 2007, be suspended for the time being in so far as the rule requires circulation of the Bill four days in advance before the motion for consideration may be moved".

Dr. Donkupar Roy, Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Finance to move that the Meghalaya Appropriation (No. II) Bill, 2007 be taken into consideration.

Shri. R. G. Lyngdoh, Minister in-charge Parliamentary Affairs, to beg leave to move the Government Resolution for adopting the amended Meghalaya Economic Development Council (MEDC).
