(b) If the answer to (a) above is in the affirmative, the number of Government doctors who completed their in-service Post-graduate studies vis--vis their postings ?


 
  (b) About 37 numbers completed in-service, Post-Graduate according to available records since July 1981, Sir.
     Their posting are as Medical &Health Officer, Senior Medical &Health Officer & various Specialised posts as per sanctioned posts in PHC / CHC / Hospitals.

Income from Checkgate

(a) What is the average daily income accruing to the State Government from the D.M.R. Checkgate when it was located at Mookyndur ?
 
  (a) Sir, the average daily income from 1.4.1999 to 13.2.2000 was Rs.71,727.00 by way of royalty on overload. The Mookyndur checkgate has been not shifted.
(b) What is the average daily income accruing to the State Government from the D.M.R. Checkgate when it was shifted to Mawsmai near Jorabat ?
 
  (b) The average daily income from Mawsmai checkgate between 14..2.2000 and 10.3.2000 was Rs.53,778.00 by way of royalty on overload. The weighing at Mawsmai is temporary.
(c) What are the reasons for shifting the D.M.R. Checkgate from Mookyndur to Mawsmai ?   (c) Does not arise in view of (a) and (b) above.

Department Schemes

(b) What is the annual income earned so far out of such schemes during the last two years i.e.. 1998 and 1999 scheme-wise and year-wise ?




 
  (b) The Soil Conservation Departrment is a development department. There is no direct income from most of the schemes. However, the Department receives revenue from the sale proceeds of departmental plantation crops as follows :-
          1998 - Rs.12,67 lakhs
          1999 - Rs.  9.36 lakhs
          Total - Rs.22.03 lakhs.

Work - permit

  (b) The reasons are as follows :-
(i) Regulation of Labour force and Inter-State migration of people including labour force under the Union List.
(ii) State Legislature cannot make laws or regulations on subject under the Union List.

Umiam Lake

(a) Whether it is a fact that the Umiam Lake has been getting increasingly polluted as a result of the wastes and effluents dumped into Lake by the Tributaries ?   (a) Yes, Sir.

 
(b) If the answer to (a) above is in the affirmative, what is the level of pollution at this stage ?



 
  (b) The level of pollution as indicated by the initial studies shows that the lake water can be used only for propagation of Wildlife, fisheries, irrigation and industrial cooling purposes.
    However, the lake water can also be used for drinking purpose only after specific treatment.
(c) Whether proper measures have been initiated to combat the growing menace ?   (c) No, Sir. Further detailed study would be required before initiated action to tackle the growing menace.

Crow Borough Hotel
