New Buses of M. T. C.

*1. Will the Minister -in-charge, Transport be pleased to state :-    
(a) The number of newly purchased M.T.C buses, how many of these body construction buses been completed and how many of these are now plying on the road ?

  (a) During the year 1999-2000 the Corporation has purchased 8 (Eight) new chassis. Out of these the 6 numbers of buses have been built and delivered and these are presently plying on the road. The remaining 2 (Two) Chassis are under construction and is expected to be delivered within this month.
(b) The route the new buses are plying ?

  (b) The following are the routes that the 6(Six) new buses are presently plying.
(1) Shillong - Tura & Vice Versa.
(2) Shillong - Rongjeng Vice Versa.
(3) Tura - Raksamgre & Vice Versa.
(4) Shillong - Silchar & Vice Versa.
(5) Shillong - Karimganj & Vice Versa.

Power Supply to Nongbak Apal Village

(a) Whether electrification to the village Nongbak Apal in Rongjeng Block of East Garo Hills been done ?   (a) Yes, Sir, this village has been declared electrified.
(b) Whether the village is getting electricity or not ?   (b) The Village is not getting Electricity.

Construction of Deficit School

(a) Whether it is a fact that out of the total grant of Rs.1,50,000.00 sanctioned for the Bainapara Deficit M. E. School, the first installment of Rs.75,000.00 was paid on 11-9-98 to the Secretary of the School and the second installment of Rs.72,246.00 was paid on 19-12-98 to the same Secretary of the School ?   (a) Yes, Sir.

(b) Whether it is a fact that the balance amount of Rs.2,754.00 (Rupees Two thousand seven hundred fifty four) only of the second installment has not been paid to the Secretary of the School till date ?   (b) Yes, Sir.


No. of Fleet of M.T.C.

(a) The number of fleet of MTC buses plying on the road ?
  (a) The numbers of running fleet plying on the road is 60 (Sixty) numbers.
(b) The revenue earning of the fleet per month during the months of March, April and May, 2000 ?

  (b) The revenue earning of the fleet is as under :-
March      -     Rs.31.50 Lakhs.
April         -     Rs.29.27 Lakhs.
May         -      Rs.30.47 Lakhs.

Nengkram Medical Sub-Centre

(a) Whether the Government is aware of the fact that the Nengkram Medical Sub-Centre under Rongjeng Block has been commissioned and one A.N.M. has already been posted who is presently staying at Mangsang P.H.C. due to damage of the building of the said Sub-Centre ?   (a) Yes, Sir.

(b) Whether the Government is contemplating to repair the badly damaged Nengkram Medical Sub-Centre immediately ?   (b) Yes, Sir.
