(a) Whether the Government is aware that several trees planted between Polo and Golflinks road are obstructing the Halogen lamps which lightens the area, thereby posing threat to life of passerby at night ?   (a) Yes, Sir.



 
(b) The action the department has taken in this regard ?
 
  (b) The Department has been lopping and cleaning the branches of roadside trees which are obstructing the halogen lamps.

Fund for Person with Disabilities

Illegal collection of fees

(a) Whether the Government is aware of the fact that there are collection of monthly fees in all Police Beat House from the truck Drivers in the National Highway 44 ?   (a) No, Sir.


 
(b) If the answer to (a) above is in the affirmatives, the action the Government has taken against those responsible ?   (b) & (c) Does not arise in view of the reply to (a) above.



 
(c) The action the department has taken to prevent such illegal collection ?  

Training of teachers

*395. Will the Minister in-charge, Education be pleased to state whether the Department is still continuing to train the teachers in the syllabus of CBSE as adopted by the MBOSE ?

  Yes, Sir. The Department continues to depute teachers to undergo the B. Ed. Course, which includes training of teachers in order to equip them with teaching skill, method and techniques of teaching. The training is not syllabus-specific and B. Ed. Degree holders are able to teach any syllabus for the Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools. However, MBOSE had conducted Examination - related training of teachers on the basis of CBSE Syllabus for Science and Mathematics subjects in 2002 and 2004.

  Sir, the amount of revenue collected by the Department during 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 upto February, 2005 was Rs.9,13,895/- and Rs.9,23,974/- respectively.
 

Rush of expenditure
